Should you book your newborn session at my studio or have it at home. It’s a personal decision, and while the location matters, it really comes down to what will make you feel the most comfortable and let you enjoy the experience.
So, what’s the difference between the two options?
Vibe and the logistics. Whether you choose to come to my studio or have me come to you, I’m here to capture those sweet moments and create beautiful memories. Let’s break down the pros and cons of both so you can make the best choice for you and your family!
If you live nearby Charleroi (or don’t mind the drive), the studio might be easier for you. It’s a space designed just for photos, so everything will be set up and ready to go when you get here.
I keep the studio nice and warm—around 80 degrees—to keep your little one comfy, especially when we’re doing those cute, naked baby shots.
You don’t need to worry about tidying up your house before the shoot! I know life with a newborn is messy, and I’m totally okay with that. My studio is clean, comfortable, and ready for you to just relax.
If you’re worried about your home’s decor not being the perfect backdrop – the studio has neutral backgrounds and props that will make everything look just right for your photos.
If you’ve spent time designing your nursery or just love the vibe of your home, an in-home session lets you capture those special spaces. It adds a personal touch to the photos.
For first-time parents, your house might be at its cleanest it will ever be! It’s a great chance to document this moment before all the toys and baby stuff start to fill up the space.
Your home is where so many family memories will be made. Capturing your newborn there makes the photos even more unique and personal.
If you live further away from Charleroi, an in-home session can save you the trip and make everything a little more relaxed.
If you’ve got older kids or pets, having the session at home might be easier for everyone. Siblings can chill in their own space while I focus on the baby, and pets are always welcome.
Forgot a bottle, pacifier, or extra diapers? No problem! With an in-home session, everything you need is right there.
For in-home sessions, I still bring props, outfits, wraps, and baskets, things I want to make sure your photos look amazing. I can even use some of your personal items to add a special touch.
For studio sessions, everything is set up and ready to go. The wraps, props, and outfits are prepped and warm (I keep them on heating pads so the baby stays cozy!). Studio sessions tend to move a bit quicker since everything is already ready to go, as long as baby is on board!

If you booked a studio session but later decide you’d feel more comfortable at home, just let me know at least a day before, and I’ll switch things up for you. No stress!
Honestly, there’s no right or wrong answer! Both options have their perks, and it really depends on what works best for you and your family. I’m happy to work with whatever feels most comfortable, so we can capture those precious moments in a way that suits your vibe.
Your photos are all about telling your unique story, and I’m excited to help you create beautiful memories. Let me know what you’re thinking, and I’ll be happy to guide you through the next steps!
Let me know how I can help, or book your session and I’ll be in touch within 48 hours to answer questions or to ask any questions I have from your booking.
